Algae extracts – Algaia
Algaia, member of the JRS Group, produces a wide range of alginates tailored for food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications sourced from brown seaweed harvested locally in France. The company markets agri-ingredients and offers comprehensive analytical services and process optimisation expertise to support innovative algal solutions.
Additionally, Algaia develops active cosmetics ingredients that meet specific performance and regulatory requirements.

Ocean Rainforest develops and supplies a wide range of seaweed-based products. They ensure traceable, high-quality seaweed sourced sustainably from native environments. Their portfolio includes edible seaweeds, functional feed supplements, certified biostimulants, and advanced extracts.
Land-based Seaweed – ALGAplus
The Ulva sp. from ALGAplus is cultivated in tanks as part of integrated multi-trophic aquaculture systems (IMTA). This means they can produce algae year-round. In their product catalogue, they have different forms of Ulva sp., such as fresh salted, dried, flakes and powder.
They also supply other species of macroalgae, as well as products from algae.
Organic Seaweed – Algolesko
Algolesko is a French pioneer in organic seaweed cultivation, based in Brittany. Founded in 2013, the company controls the entire value chain — from hatchery to offshore farming and transformation — ensuring traceability and premium quality. Its sustainably grown kelps are used in food, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals, and Algolesko is internationally recognized for its innovation, including award-winning culinary creations.
